I must admit that when this item first arrived, it seemed to work well but after a few ‘wearings’, the material started to give out and now it does not support as well as it did. A little expensive for the short time it worked.

If you have pain in your foot caused techically by plantar fasciatis that extends to the muscles on the side and top of your foot, this support is blessing. You can sleep with it on and it keeps your foot from curling up, and hurting like hell when you get out of bed in the morning. it supports your foots when walking on cobblestone areas like the streets of Rome, so that you don’t step down on it wrong and sprain your muscles in your arch and ankle. I an ordering another one so that I have one to wear while I launder the first.

The very first instruction says to pull the strap away from the cuff. I took hold of the strap just like the picture indicated and pulled. The strap came off, but the velcro tabs on either end remained behind, rendering the product completely useless. Upon closer inspection, I found that the velcro tabs were made of flimsy plastic stitched onto the strap. The stitching just provided a perforated line, and both tabs ripped off exactly along those lines. It’s too bad because the cuff seems very well made, and I wish the velcro tabs had been backed with either fabric or a stronger plastic, because I really hoped this product would work for me. But I should have known better when I saw the cheap price (as compared to other foot pain devices I’ve looked at).

I was disappointed with the quality for the price. It might be okay for someone who is not rough on footwear. This did not last very long. Also, it didn’t really help very much with the heel pain.
